Do Your Marketing Homework

Do Your Marketing Homework

I can’t stand cold-calls!  I hate making them and I sure as hell hate getting them too.  Especially the ones that have absolutely no relevance on my life and my company.  There is nothing quite like getting calls about student loan consolidation or website development.  I don’t have any damn student loans and I own a company that still does web design.  So before you waste your time and mine or someone else, be sure to do your marketing homework first.

This installment was a bit longer than “5 minutes” and I edited it for time.  But still there was a lot of information in there that I felt would help and to really drive home the point.  That point is, know you customer or better yet, know something about your ideal customer.  But in order to do that, you need to do your marketing research.

It also emphasizes my point that cold-calling is a waste of time, effort and money!  You can get a far greater ROI and considerably better results even if you spend just a fraction of your Yellow Pages, Radio and/or TV advertising budget on targeted audiences using social media.

There’s a lot more where that came from

If you like my Do Your Marketing Homework video, be sure to share it and check out my other 5 Minutes With Charles videos.  Also, even though my videos are about a lot of different topics, I am always focused on one thing – getting you more customers!  That’s what we do and who we are!

P.S. I will be publishing a lot more content just like this, so if you feel this is good shit, which you know it is, let us know! Also, be sure to ask your questions on any of our social media pages and who knows, maybe your question will be the next one to get answered in one of my videos.

P.P.S. When you decide that you are tired of the struggle of finding new customers, give us a call.  Or you can click on the banner below to get started.
