25 ways to increase website traffic

25 ways to increase website traffic

The last time around in this series with the article, 25 Tools To Increase Website Traffic Part 8, we covered Guest Blogging and ways to go about becoming one.  And despite what you may have heard to the contrary, guest blogging is still very much a viable solution for reaching an entirely new audience as well as driving even more traffic to your website, provided that you do your homework.

But just as guest blogging is a win-win situation for you writing valuable content for someone’s blog, let’s look at this from the other end of the traffic pipeline – why not recruit someone to be a guest blogger for you?

#9 – Recruit A Guest Blogger

As has been hinted at numerous other times and mentioned above, Guest Blogging is a two-way street.  It is a win-win situation for the blog owner as well as it is for the guest writer.  It helps to drive traffic and broaden audiences for both parties, so why not recruit one to start writing for you?

When someone blogs for you, they are likely to share it and link back to their article on your website, which will bring in new readers (just like you should be doing with your guest blogs elsewhere).  Just be sure that it is of high-quality and that it is original content without all sorts of link or keyword spamming before you hit the publish button.  Search engines, especially Google, are cracking down hard on low-quality or crappy guest blogging.

Business Blogging

Recruit reputable guest bloggers that create high-quality content!

Summary

Just as finding a quality website to blog for is vitally important, finding reputable guest bloggers is just as important when recruiting them to create content on your website.  The content needs to be original material and it has to be high-quality or you risk getting smacked down by Google and some of the other search engines.

Likewise, you also need to read the content before simply approving it to be published on your website.  You definitely need to make sure that it is not spamming all sorts of keywords and it definitely cannot have link-spam either; otherwise you are really gambling with your business.
