25 Tools to Increase Website Traffic Part 11
In the last article, 25 Tools to Increase Website Traffic Part 10, we covered the concept of getting referral traffic and links. And why not? It is a heck of a lot easier to get someone to ask to link to your website by creating great content than it is to beg others to link to your website.
However, don’t just stop there. While you are creating awesome articles and getting others to send you referral links and traffic, you can also garner even more traffic by repurposing some of that content for LinkedIn. You do have a LinkedIn account, don’t you???
#11 – Leveraging LinkedIn
The social media website known as LinkedIn has become so much more than a means of finding a job. It is now the world’s premier (i.e. largest) professional social network and it is also being used as an incredibly powerful publishing platform too. Businesses and individual professionals are now using LinkedIn as a means for driving high-quality traffic to their websites – you should be too!
Quite simply, LinkedIn allows you to post content such as posts and infographics as well as creating a page for your business. Doing so can boost your website traffic tremendously as well as increase the value of your profile and/or business page. This is especially true if you have a moderate to large following there or at least have several hundred connections.
It is fairly simple to leverage LinkedIn for increasing traffic to your website. There is no need to reinvent anything here, you are simply re-using content that you already have, putting a professional spin on it and publishing it. And as long as you regularly post content to your LinkedIn account, the website traffic will follow. Consistency and professional with your topics and content is the key to success here.
